Sunday Rituals With Albert
It was love at first bite with Albert's and because of this love affair, I couldn't imagine my Sunday rituals not consisting of a stop at my favorite Bistro in all of Oslo.
I'm not sure about you guys, but for me, Sunday's are made for relaxation, great coffee, and good eats! Sunday is the one day I really let myself completely indulge in any guilty pleasures my little heart desires. Every Sunday, Nic and I make it a point to start our day off by getting out of the house, breathing in the fresh air of Norway and committing to our Sunday ritual of stopping by Albert Bistro, along the brygge here in Oslo, for a yummy cappuccino and the best french cuisine! YUM!
from a very young age I developed a strong (maybe even border line obsessive) love for french onion soup. Literally, it's an unbreakable bond. Anytime I go to a restaurant and see my beloved french onion soup offered on the menu, the decision comes to an abrupt end...FRENCH ONION SOUP IT IS!! The problem is, it is sooo hard finding a really good one! I have been disappointed so many times after ordering this dish from other restaurants, either its too bland, not made properly, or may as well just be broth with a few onions and no added taste or flavoring. However this is most DEFINITELY not the case with Albert Bistro. OMG, I literally dream about this soup! Yeah, it's that good.....in fact, EVERYTHING on the menu is out of this world! Sometimes I secretly wish the rest of their menu was awful so that I could remain loyal to my french onion soup Sunday cravings making my ultimate decision of the day a lot easier, But it unfortunately never ends up that way. I can never make up my mind seeing as Albert Bistro has the best french breakfast/Brunch menu in town, hands down! Mmmmmm... The croque madame is another favorite of mine, and because I love both so much...I often end up ordering both! Hey, I did say Sundays were my indulge guilt free days! No regrets.
Aside from the amazing french menu and cuisine that I could go on and on
about, Albert's stunning french decor and ambiance wins my heart over
every time. Paris has to be one of my favorite cities ever traveled to.
Everything about Paris screams elegance, class and croissants to die
for. Albert's truly is a little piece of Paris here in Oslo, and their
croissants most definitely live up to the Paris standard. There is no
place I would rather be on my Sunday afternoons than spending my time
sipping my favorite cappuccino with my favorite person, accompanied with
a french menu to die for, and an ambiance of elegance that could sweep
you off your feet. It was love at first bite with Albert's and because
of this love affair, I couldn't imagine my Sunday rituals not consisting
of a stop at my favorite Bistro in all of Oslo.
